Who's better?

So a couple days ago I just had my new car put on the road. It is a cavalier, not to bad it has new tires and breaks. I am going to be driving from home and back so it better be alright. I have been taking trips to massena and watertown with my friends to see how it would run. So far..So good, I hope it stays this way.
I Love Thanksgiving!!
Well I had a good Thanksgiving break. All my friends came home, and we had a very fun time. I think every night we had something going on! Then Thanksgiving day I ate so much...this year was the year I ate the most. I didn't eat one thing all day just so I would eat a lot for dinner. I hope everyone else had a good Thanksgiving too.

So I am about to go take the test that I have in Biology right now and hopefully I pass it. I have studied a little bit but i deffinetly could of studied more. I like that break is coming up but I get so pumped for break that I sometimes slack in my school work. And it doesn't help at all when all your friends are coming back home and you still have school the next couple days. Anyways I have to go see if I can "do work" on this test. Wish me luck!!
I cant wait untill this day is over. I am not feeling good at all and just want to go lay down. I was up last night because one of my friends came home from school for thanksgiving. We just sat around shooting the shit and catching up. Usually I am not sick in the morning when I wake up but i ate Mcdonalds late last night so that could of done it!

Tea Cup Yorkie
I just got a new dog a month and a half ago. It is a Tea Cup Yorkie(If you don't know what they are than you should check them out)They are very small. So small that all they do is attack your feet as you walk by but thats the only annoying thing about them. They sleep a lot when their young because they have a small body after 20 minutes of playing their beat. When they take a nap they like to lay right on your lap or beside you while your lounging, which is pretty cool. The worst part is, their expensive! The price will change depending on who you get it from and the gender. Mine was 850 but it was a female. I think they cost more!

I think having this blog thing a part of class is kinda cool. I am not big on writing a lot or creating pieces but I like putting things that I find cool or interesting on the page. You can also find other interesting things on some of the other classmates pages. It would suck if you don't have a computer of your own or in your house! I have pretty good computer so it is easy for me to throw something in their or respond to something every once in awhile.

From the time i was 10 years old i have liked the sight of blood. Dont get me wrong there is a limit but not much of one with me. When i was a kid i was pretty wild. Growing up in ogdensburg, there is not much to do. We would play sports, crab apple wars, snowball/ice chunk fights, wrestle matches, and of course building tree cabins...i have alot of scrapes and bruises on me..when i was like 9 i broke my elbow by falling out of a tree..if i held my arm out straight, from my elbow down would dangle..it was nasty...then they put screws in my arm and when they went to go take them out, they couldnt find them...my skin healed over the screws..but there out now haha.....
I was angry with my friend;
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.
And I waterd it in fears,
Night and morning with my tears:
And I sunned it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.
And it grew both day and night,
Till it bore an apple bright.
And my foe beheld it shine,
And he knew that it was mine.
And into my garden stole.
When the night had veiled the pole;
In the morning glad I see,
My foe outstretchd beneath the tree.
William Blake

Thou, whose deep ways are in the sea,
Whose footsteps are not known,
To-night a world that turned from Thee
Is waiting at Thy Throne.
The towering Babels that we raised
Where scoffing sophists brawl,
The little Antichrists we praised
The night is on them all.
The fool hath said . . . The fool hath said.
And we, who deemed him wise,
We who believed that Thou wast dead,
How should we seek Thine eyes?
How should we seek to Thee for power
Who scorned Thee yesterday?
How should we kneel, in this dread hour?
Lord, teach us how to pray!
Grant us the single heart, once more,
That mocks no sacred thing,
The Sword of Truth our fathers wore
When Thou wast Lord and King.
Let darkness unto darkness tell
Our deep unspoken prayer,
For, while our souls in darkness dwell,
We know that Thou art there.
Alfred Noyes

Blood
The sun is shining,
But my eyes see no light.
I see black,
I see people laughing,
But all i hear is the screaming.
What is wrong with me?
All I feel is pain.
I see my blood gushing from my wrist.
Sitting in my room all alone,
I feel crowded,
My mind is yelling
"Nobody loves me!"
Is all I hear all day long,
when I sleep I dream of death
The blood has covered the floor,
I feel light headed
The pain rushes through my body like lighting
hitting th ground.
I think of everything I have been through,
rape, drunk parents, beatings by boyfriends, almost killed,
Now everything is gone
Its silent
and as i take my last breath I whisper
"I guess this is all I have worked for......Suicide!"

Keep in Mind
1. Don’t Quit Your Job Too Soon
Mind you, I am not saying that you should continue with your day job during the initial stages of your freelancing career. That’s because I quit my day job 3 months back and started out as a web worker and it’s been an enjoyable experience so far.
If you want to take the risk then do it but make sure you’ve done your research well and you’re confident that you’ll be able to survive without your job during the first few months. If you have any doubts then it’d probably be better to start freelancing on the side. You should not quit your job in haste. Make sure you only take calculated risks.
2. Be Prepared For The Toil
Experienced web workers know that freelancing is no child’s play and it’s hard work, usually harder than the day job. Hence if you’re determined to go solo, you should also prepare to burn the midnight oil and work a little harder, at least for a couple months. You’ll have to learn to wear many hats: accountant, marketer, customer service, etc…
3. Start Managing Your Time from Day One
Time management is probably the most common of all the problems freelancers face and keeping that in mind, try your best to manage time from day one. Make everyday schedules and stick to them. If you decide to work from home, you’ll see distractions are everywhere! Only this time you won’t get paid if you take longer breaks.
4. Avoid Procrastination
The realization of the fact that you are your own boss can further lead to a loss of self-discipline and hinder your progress as a freelancer.
Remember, you are still accountable to yourself, to your clients and of course, to your bank account :). No more paychecks every 2 weeks.
5. Be Frugal
It’s important to be frugal and invest wisely during your initial days of freelancing. The more you save, the more you’ll have to invest in future projects, marketing and growing your business.
6. Network Like Crazy!
Networking with others is essential and as a freelancer it can help you to get more work. Network as much as possible and focus on building relationships. Make friends with other designers or writers, read blogs, comment on blogs, send emails, give business cards, attend conference. You get the idea! :)
7. First Project
Your first project is very important and you should put your heart and soul into it (in fact, in all your projects). A good testimonial from a client will certainly motivate you, give you an inherent satisfaction and also help you get more clients. Think ‘long term‘.
8. Don’t Stress Yourself
Under no circumstances you should compromise your health. If you stress yourself or even get sick then you could potentially lose a lot of money. Don’t go overboard with your work and lose sleep over it.
I know it’s easier said than done, but the proverb still holds true - ‘ Health is Wealth ‘. Moreover if you stress yourself, then you’ll soon start thinking that freelancing is no better than a day job! Manage time and enjoy freelancing without being stressed. Try yoga or meditation, and take some time off for yourself (not in front of the computer!)
9. Acquire Skills
Whether you’re a blogger, a photographer or a web designer, you have to be well versed with at least the basic technical skills required to make things work. Of course, always work on sharpening your skills, but don’t stop there, keep learning new tricks and techniques.
10. Learn To Unlearn
As you start freelancing, you’ll find that a lot of your assumptions were wrong and things are not exactly like you thought they would. The catch here is that as you go on to learn and adapt to new things, you should also quickly unlearn things which you thought were useful initially but don’t seem to help anymore. You’re not at the day job anymore, things are a lot different now that you’re on your own. Try to get rid of some of the bad habits you developed when you were working 9-5.

REALLY?
Cockroaches can live for 9 days after their head has been cut off.
The world's largest amphibian is the giant salamander. It can grow up to 5 ft. in length.
The first coast-to-coast telephone line was established in 1914.
A car traveling 100 mph would take more than 29 million years to reach the nearest star.
In Cleveland, Ohio it is illegal to catch mice without a hunting license.

But I know
Better than that
I know
That love opened my heart
That hope gave me golden wings
To fly where you
Fear to go
I know that
Tomorrow won't be so bad
If I believe that
I can go one more day
Just survive
I know better
And I know
Emptiness
Lonliness
Is worse than death
And only One can take death away
Bury it in the grave
Forever
What I know is
That
Grace is something I don't deserve
Something I need
Like air to survive
That I've made
Mistakes
More than I can count
That blood washed my sins away
I know
That faith may seem to
You like a fairy tale
But to me
You're the one in the fairy tale world
Better than that
I know

Amazing Man
Langston Hughes was one of the most important writers and thinkers of the Harlem Renaissance, which was the African American artistic movement in the 1920s that celebrated black life and culture. Hughes's creative genius was influenced by his life in New York City's Harlem, a primarily African American neighborhood. His literary works helped shape American literature and politics. Hughes, like others active in the Harlem Renaissance, had a strong sense of racial pride. Through his poetry, novels, plays, essays, and children's books, he promoted equality, condemned racism and injustice, and celebrated African American culture, humor, and spirituality.

The Greatest
By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time. Although, a summary of his basketball career and influence on the game inevitably fails to do it justice, as a phenomenal athlete with a unique combination of fundamental soundness, grace, speed, power, artistry, improvisational ability and an unquenchable competitive desire, Jordan single-handedly redefined the NBA superstar.

Steve Jobs
In 2005, Apple co-founder and college dropout Steven Jobs talked to Stanford University seniors about thinking different. In fact, he wore his usual jeans and sandals under his graduation robes. In his speech, he told three stories about his own life. In the first story, he spoke about why he dropped out of Reed College after one month and how one Reed College class on calligraphy later influenced the creation of the first Macintosh computer. His second story was about being fired from the company he had founded by his own board of directors, and how this devastating loss led him in a new creative direction, resulting in the startup of Pixar, the highly successful cutting-edge animation company. His final story was about dealing with his own mortality after a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. After surgery, he survived the cancer and, at the same time, learned about the value of life.

Worry That Elections Could Be Hacked
Computer experts and government officials have voiced serious concerns that if these machines malfunction, no paper record will exist for a recount. Even worse is the fear that an election could be hacked.
Princeton University researchers using an Accuvote TS -- a touch screen version of the Diebold machine -- showed how easy it would be to deploy a virus that would, in seconds, flip the vote of any election.
